United States Republicans control the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Supreme Court and the Presidency, and are directed by Trump. Given the choice, international investors are going to avoid the US as they might be at a disadvantage to the rent-seekers. Will this change in 2029 when we presume Trump will be gone?
Very unlikely because investors would have seen the remaining Republicans who could have protected international investors (and local investors/businesses without MAGA connections), still in power. Trust has been shattered and it will take significant changes to the political system and time for trust to be reestablished.
